Goodwood Vintage Festival
This year's festivals are in full swing and we are once again proud to be supplying the skates and staff for the Warehouse and Roller Disco at the event featuring some of the greatest DJs playing the greatest tunes and using an old dodgem ride as a roller rink.
Topshop Band Stand, Regents Park London
SK8House helping to raise funds for charity in association with Topshop. Kicking off on June 12 in the lush surroundings of Regents Park, we'll find a mix of white hot musicians and DJs playing live to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust.
Nokia Skate Almighty, London
They don't come much bigger than this, we had an amazing time and were proud to supply all the skates and staff for Nokia's Skate Almighty during the summer. A purpose built rink was constructed right next to Tower Bridge in London. We were given complete control of the skating area and worked alongside all of Nokia's own staff to ensure the event was run over the 5 days safely and professionally with great success.
Vauxhall Skate, London
Another amazing event which is run each year at a secret location in London, again we provided staff and skates to run the skating area of this event alongside the main dance floor where special celebrity guests performed.
Imperial College London
As part of Freshers events being run by the Students Union we ran a very successful evening of fun for the new students. We plan to be working alongside them again in the near future.
The Works (GateGrashers), Birmingham
We worked alongside The Works Nightclub (Gatecrashers) in Birmingham to create a retro 80s Roller disco for the students which was a sell out for 720 people. The atmosphere was amazing, reliving the 80s with leg warmers, John McEnroe head bands and luminous clothing.
Chasetown Specialist Sports College
We were contacted by the Head of PE to run an end of term Roller Disco within the school for over 200 children, fully equipped with safety equipment they all had a great time.
Embrace Nightclub Sheffield
Studentnights.com in Sheffield invited SK8hire.co.uk to set up a roller skating disco within the Embrace nightclub. They had over a thousand students coming through the doors of which 80% were roller skating.
Boogie Night, Jumpin' Jacks, Cardiff
The Boogie Night event held at Millennium Plaza in Cardiff was a great success with over 250 retro 70s revellers attending.
Manchester Guild of Students
We ran 2 'Gay City Rollers' events one on campus and one at Pure Nightclub in Manchester both which were a huge success. The one on campus was the highest attendance for any event they've ever held on campus - a great success!
The Marriot Hotel, London
For this American themed staff night in the Kensington Marriot we provided the roller skates via a courier and the hotel returned them via courier after the event. We had a great response from all the staff involved.
Kenilworth School/Meadow Sports Centre
We were contacted once again to run an end of term roller disco which was run over 2 days with the whole school of around 1,200 children attending.
